So, what do you need to do to create a video like this? First, sign up or sign in to the platform, if you have an account. Then, go to the “Video templates” library to choose a template. Click on the “Animation videos” category and go to the “Typography” section.
Here you will find many templates with kinetic typography of different styles – minimalist, vibrant, artistic, etc. Choose one suitable for your taste and business, and click “Create now” to start editing the template. For this tutorial, we’ll pick the “Color Craze Typography”, with over 100 scenes and a huge set of colors.
Next, it’s time to select some scenes for your promo video. The scenes are divided into categories, to make you choose what you need more easily. There are scenes with checkmarks, titles, media and logo holders, and more. After selecting what you need, click “Insert” to confirm and start the editing process.
Our first scene needs a title, so first, we are going to add the text by clicking on the text field and typing it in.
Next, add your video by choosing one of the options: upload it from your device, add the video URL, or choose it from the “Media library”, if you’ve already uploaded it before.
If you don’t have a suitable video for your kinetic typography video, pick one of the many videos from our “Stock footage” library. Search the keyword and go through the list of results. After selecting one, click “Insert” to continue.
Once you add a video file, you’ll be able to trim or mute it, to make it fit into your project.
There are scenes with photo holders as well, where you can upload your image file, add it from your device, from the web, from the “Media library”, or our “Stock image” library. Crop, rotate or apply filters to your photos, if necessary.
Add your best qualities to the scenes with checkmarks, to point out why people need to choose your brand or services.
Direct the people watching your business video with kinetic typography to your social media pages or website, by adding a scene with your contact info. This will help them find out more about your brand.
In the end, don’t forget to add your logo as well. And if you don’t have one, create it on the spot with Renderforest, by clicking on the “Create logo” option.
If you don’t like the sequence of your scenes, move them to where you want them to be, as well as duplicate, delete, or replace them.
After making the necessary changes to your scenes, go to the “Style” section, and choօse a font for your primary and secondary text. Click “Generate” to apply the changes and move on to the next step.
Make sure to add a music track to your video as well, to create a dynamic and cool mood for your audience. Uploading a voiceover is a good idea as well, and if you don’t have a ready voiceover, record one on the stop.
And now, it’s time to “Preview” your video, to see the final result before downloading it.
