Prompt to published in four steps

Gemini Omni Flash is Google's video generation model, introduced at I/O in May 2026 and the replacement for Veo 3.1. It turns text, images and video into short clips with native audio. In Renderforest you run it from a browser on a Renderforest plan, then finish the video in the editor.

  1. Step 1: Choose Omni Flash

Open the Renderforest editor and pick Gemini Omni Flash in the model list. Add a photo if you want the shot to start from it.

  2. Step 2: Prompt with sound

Describe the shot, the camera, the light and the audio: dialogue in quotes, ambience, music. Omni Flash generates the sound with the picture.

  3. Step 3: Set clip format

Pick any length from 3 to 10 seconds in 16:9 or 9:16. Draft at 360p to check the shot, then render the keeper at up to 4K for the final cut.

  4. Step 4: Edit and publish

The clip lands in the editor: trim it, add captions, music or a voiceover, apply your brand kit and export the finished video for every platform.

What Gemini Omni Flash does here

Everything on this list is in the Omni Flash slot in Renderforest today. What the model can do beyond it is marked as such in the comparison below.

  • Native audio, generated with the picture

Dialogue, sound effects and ambience come out of the model in sync with the frame, so there is no separate voice track to align. Say what you want to hear in the prompt.

  • Photo to video, with references

Start from an image and describe how the shot should move, or add up to ten reference images and three short reference videos to keep a product or character consistent.

  • 3 to 10 seconds, first and last frame

Pick any length from 3 to 10 seconds in 16:9 or 9:16. Give it a start and an end frame and Omni Flash builds the shot between them. Chain clips in the editor for anything longer.

  • 360p drafts to 4K finals

Draft at 360p for a fraction of the credits, then render the keeper at 720p, 1080p or 4K. A 4-second clip costs 24 credits as a draft and 120 at 1080p.

  • An editor where the clip lands

Captions, music, voiceover, brand kit, avatars, translation and templates in the same workspace. The clip is the start; the video is the product.

  • One plan, every model

Omni Flash sits beside Kling 3.0, Seedance 2.5, MiniMax H3, Pixverse V6 and Renderforest's own models, all paid from the same plan credits. No Google account and no Google AI plan.

Google Veo 3 to Gemini Omni Flash: what changed, and what it means for you

Google Veo 3 launched at I/O in May 2025 and Veo 3.1 in October 2025. On May 19, 2026 Google introduced Gemini Omni, a new model family, and on October 22, 2026 it shut down the Veo 3.1 models in its API, naming Gemini Omni 1.1 Flash as the replacement. There is no Veo 4: Omni Flash is the successor.

Timeline

  1. Veo 3 is announced at Google I/O, the first Google video model with native audio.

  2. Veo 3.1 adds reference images, first and last frame and scene extension.

  3. Gemini Omni is announced at I/O. Google says Omni will replace Veo in the Gemini app.

Omni, explained properly

What is Gemini Omni, and which Omni is which?

Gemini Omni is Google DeepMind's model family for generating and editing video from any mix of text, images, audio and video, announced at I/O on May 19, 2026. Gemini Omni Flash was the first model; Gemini Omni 1.1 Flash (August 27, 2026; API ID gemini-omni-1.1-flash) is the current one, and what Omni Flash means today. It is not a Gemini 2.x or 3.x Flash: those are Google's chat models, and Omni Flash is the video model. Google pitches it as conversational and iterative, consistent across edits.

What Omni actually costs, there vs here

In the Gemini app, Omni video needs a paid Google AI plan (Plus, Pro or Ultra), is for adults only, and features vary by tier and country, with no published video count. In Google's API there is no free tier: video output is billed in tokens, about $0.10 a second at 720p, so an 8-second clip is about $0.80 before retries. In Renderforest, Omni Flash is on the Lite, Pro and Business plans and is paid from the credits that come with your plan: a 4-second clip is 24 credits as a 360p draft, 80 at 720p, 120 at 1080p and 240 in 4K.

How to prompt Gemini Omni Flash like a director

Omni takes direction literally. For one take, say single continuous shot, no scene cuts. For timing, write it out: [0-3s] the glass tips over, [3-8s] slow push-in on the spill.Name the audio: rain on a tin roof, distant thunder, no music. Put spoken lines and on-screen text in quotes. For photo to video, describe the motion, not the photo: the camera orbits the bottle slowly, condensation catches the light. Negatives go in the prompt (no captions, no logos); there is no separate negative prompt field.

Gemini Omni Flash vs Veo 3.1, Kling 3.0 and Seedance 2.5

Veo 3.1 (retired) made 8-second clips at up to 1080p native with reference images: the realism specialist. Omni Flash makes 3 to 10 second clips with any-input references and native audio: the multimodal director. Inside Renderforest, pick Omni Flash for audio-first clips, photo to video and dialogue scenes; Seedance 2.5 or Kling 3.0 for complex motion; MiniMax H3 for dialogue in many languages; Pixverse V6 for stylised motion; and Renderforest's own models to draft. They are all in the same AI video generator.

Where Omni runs: the Gemini app, the API, and here

The Gemini app makes 10-second videos from text and photos on a paid Google AI plan, for adults, and is not offered in every country. Google's API has no free tier and some features are limited in the EEA, Switzerland and the UK. Renderforest runs the same model from a browser, on a Renderforest plan, with the editor around it.

Watermarks, rights and what you can publish

Every Omni clip carries Google's SynthID, an invisible, machine-detectable watermark, and Renderforest does not remove it. Renderforest adds no visible watermark on paid plans. Platforms such as YouTube, TikTok and Meta ask creators to label realistic AI video, and Google blocks prompts with certain recognisable people. Renderforest's content policy applies on top.

Loved by Creators

  • I personally use Renderforest to create video lessons for my online educational courses, and it has made the whole process much easier for me. I don’t come from a video production background, but the platform allows me to turn my scripts into clear, professional videos without any hassle. What I like most is how fast and straightforward everything is.

Gemini Omni questions, answered straight

What happened to Veo 3? Is Veo 3 discontinued?

Yes. Google shut down the Veo 3 models in its API on June 30, 2026 and the Veo 3.1, Veo 3.1 Fast and Veo 3.1 Lite models on October 22, 2026, naming Gemini Omni 1.1 Flash as the replacement. In the Gemini app, Google says Omni will replace Veo. Renderforest moved its Veo slot to Gemini Omni Flash, and your plan and projects are unchanged.

Is there a Veo 4?

No. Google did not release a Veo 4; the successor to Veo 3.1 is Gemini Omni Flash, part of the new Gemini Omni family. If you are searching for Veo 4, Omni Flash is the model you want, and you can run it here.

Is Gemini Omni free?

Not from Google: the Gemini app needs a paid Google AI plan and is for adults only, and the API has no free tier. In Renderforest, Omni Flash is on the Lite, Pro and Business plans and is paid from your plan credits, from 120 credits for a 4-second clip at 1080p (24 as a 360p draft). You can try Renderforest free with test credits on Renderforest's own model and upgrade when you want Omni.

How do I use Gemini Omni without a Google AI subscription?

Sign in to Renderforest, open the video editor, choose Gemini Omni Flash, write a prompt or add a photo, and generate. It runs in your browser on a Renderforest Lite, Pro or Business plan, with no Google account, no Gemini app and no API key.

Does Gemini Omni Flash generate audio and dialogue?

Yes. Omni generates sound with the picture: dialogue, sound effects, ambience and music cues, steered by your prompt. Put spoken lines in quotes. Editing the voice in an existing recording is not supported by the model.

How long can Gemini Omni videos be?

The model generates clips of 3 to 10 seconds, and in Renderforest you can pick any whole-second length in that range. For anything longer, join clips on the editor's timeline.

What resolution does Omni Flash output?

Omni renders 720p natively and upscales to 1080p and 4K, with a 360p mode for quick drafts. Renderforest offers all four: 360p, 720p, 1080p and 4K. Aspect ratios are 16:9 and 9:16.

Can I use my photo with Gemini Omni Flash?

Yes. Add an image and describe the motion, and Omni animates from it while keeping the subject consistent. You can also set a first and a last frame, or add up to ten reference images and three short reference videos.

Can I edit the clip after it's generated?

In Renderforest, yes, in the editor: trim, caption, add music or a voiceover, apply your brand kit, translate. Omni's conversational editing, where you change an element by typing, is a model feature that is not in the Renderforest slot yet; until then, re-prompt or edit on the timeline.

Do Gemini Omni videos have a watermark?

Every Omni clip carries Google's invisible SynthID watermark. It cannot be removed, and Renderforest does not offer tools to remove it. Renderforest adds no visible watermark on paid plans.

Is Gemini Omni Flash the same as Gemini Flash?

No. Gemini Flash models (2.5, 3.x) are Google's fast chat models. Gemini Omni Flash is the video generation and editing model in the new Omni family, and its current version is Gemini Omni 1.1 Flash.

Can I make an avatar of myself with Omni?

Avatars are a Gemini app feature with identity verification, not part of the model Renderforest runs. For a presenter, use the Renderforest AI avatar video generator, or clone your voice with AI voice cloning.

Gemini Omni Flash, Kling 3.0 or Seedance 2.5: which should I pick?

Omni Flash for audio-first clips, dialogue scenes and photo to video; Seedance 2.5 and Kling 3.0 for complex motion; MiniMax H3 for dialogue in many languages. All of them are on the same plan, so draft on Renderforest's own model or at 360p, then render the keeper on the model that suits the shot.

Is there a Gemini Omni API?

Yes. Developers call gemini-omni-1.1-flash through Google AI Studio. There is no free tier, and video output costs about $0.10 a second at 720p. Renderforest is the no-code route: the same model in a browser, on a plan, with an editor around the clip.

Can I make NSFW or adult videos with Renderforest?

No. Renderforest does not generate nudity, sexual content, or sexual or deceptive deepfakes of real people, on any plan. Google's safety filters block the same prompts, uploads are screened automatically, and accounts that try to create this content are closed.

Content policy

Renderforest does not generate nudity, sexual content, or sexual or deceptive deepfakes of real people.
